Winter Shelter

Winter Shelter

Providing warm shelter and meals for families experiencing homelessness during the coldest months of the year.

About This Ministry

Warmth when it matters most

During the coldest months of the year, Fairfax Church of Christ partners with local organizations to provide warm shelter and meals for families experiencing homelessness. Our volunteers open the building, prepare food, and create a safe, dignified space for our neighbors in need.

This seasonal ministry runs through the winter and depends entirely on volunteers. Whether you can help set up, cook, serve, or stay overnight — every hand makes a difference.
