Children’s Ministry

Partnering with parents to help every child know God, build godly relationships, and share their faith.

About This Ministry

A safe, fun place where kids discover who God made them to be

At Fairfax Church of Christ, we believe kids aren’t just the future of the church — they’re part of the church right now. Our Children’s Ministry partners with parents to build a foundation of faith from the very beginning. Every Sunday, babies through 6th graders experience age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, and community in a safe, welcoming environment.

Our goals are simple: help every child grow toward spiritual maturity, build godly relationships with peers and mentors, and develop the confidence to share their faith with others.

Check In

Use our digital check-in kiosks in the lobby. First-time families get a personal walk-through — we’ll show you where your child’s class meets and answer any questions.

2

Learn & Worship

Kids join age-appropriate classes with Bible teaching, songs, and activities designed to be engaging and memorable. Our teachers are background-checked and trained.

3

Pick Up

After service, use your check-in tag to pick up your child. You’ll get a quick rundown of what they learned so you can continue the conversation at home.

From Our Families

My daughter used to dread Sunday mornings. Now she’s the one dragging us out of bed. She talks about her Bible class all week and her teachers know her by name. That means everything to us as parents.

Is my child safe?

Absolutely. All volunteers are background-checked and trained. We use a secure digital check-in system and your child can only be picked up by an authorized adult with a matching tag.

What if my child has allergies or special needs?

Let us know during check-in and we’ll make sure your child’s teachers are aware. We’re committed to creating a welcoming environment for every child.

What if it’s our first time?

Just head to the Welcome Desk in the lobby. A volunteer will walk you through check-in, show you where your child’s class is, and answer any questions. No pressure — we’ve all been the new family.

Can I volunteer?

We’d love that. We’re always looking for people who love kids and want to make a difference. Background check and brief training required — contact Bella to get started.

Bring your kids this Sunday

No registration required for your first visit. Just show up at 9:00 AM and head to the Welcome Desk — we’ll take care of the rest.
